**** From
our 2007 visit I'd like to also add...

You'll notice the part about no
sunbathing and no playing sports and keeping your animals
on leashes. In addition I also specifically ask about
wedding and other events. They DO NOT allow
ceremonies or large events on the grounds... however guests are
welcome to come by and take their wedding pictures or event
pictures there.
To those of you who feel this is
slightly unfair, I did ask the reason behind these policies,
the answer is that this is not a public facility, This is, in fact,
the Corporate Headquarters for PepsiCo. The grounds
are what I believe to be the largest and most magnificent
Private Sculpture Garden in the United States. Even though
the keyword here is Private, still they welcome about a quarter
million visitors onto their grounds each year. As a
Private collection, you may not get all the frills you might at
a museum or a gallery, but you do get a couple other
advantages.....for instance....It's free!!
Also, No annoying Gift shops or street vendors trying to sell you Pepsi
Sculpture Garden T-Shirts. (Although I'd buy one)
They do provide a picnic area and ask that food be
restricted to that area. Be aware though, there
are only 7 tables. For most groups no problem, but if you
are planning a large tour, try to leave a couple tables open for
others.
just follow Common sense and
Common courtesy..... Isn't it amazing, I'm not even on the
payroll!
